Macon & Joan Brock Dance Series

Dancer, educator, and choreographer, Leah Glenn has a passion for dance that distinguishes her company's performances. Her reconstructions of major works by iconic Black choreographers and her own choreography draw from African American history and traditions, and lift and challenge performers and audiences. Glenn brings work at once rooted in history and future-facing — a fascinating, moving evening with a hometown artist hero.

This festival premiere performance includes new work, Kitchen Table Talk, with Glenn's partner and collaborator Steve Prince. Kitchen Table Talk presents a selection of drawings, prints, an installation, and dance interpretation reflecting on the conversations that occur around the kitchen table.
